When contemplating a journey to Nepal, numerous questions may arise.
How to book the trip?
To facilitate the booking process with Eve Holidays, you can initiate contact via WhatsApp at +977 9841414582 or through our website’s “Contact Us” page. A minimal booking deposit of 10% can be sent, or alternatively, you can visit the website’s itinerary page, click the “Book Now” button, and pay a 15% deposit using a credit card. The remaining balance is settled upon arrival in Nepal before the trip departure.
How many people will be in the group?
For those curious about group sizes, Eve Holidays organizes small group trips limited to 4-5 individuals. This approach ensures personalized service, fostering closer connections among participants. In remote mountainous terrain, smaller groups allow for more individualized attention from guides, reducing the risk of unnoticed accidents or health issues.
Visa requirements and the visa fee for Nepal
Regarding visa requirements for Nepal, visas can be obtained upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu or at Nepalese Embassies or consulates in your home country. Visa fees vary based on the duration of stay: $30.00 for 15 days, $50.00 for 30 days, and $125.00 for 90 days, all with single or multiple entry options.
Do I need travel insurance?
A mandatory component for booking with Eve Holidays is travel insurance. This policy should cover accidents, injuries, illnesses, medical expenses, emergency repatriation, personal liability, theft, loss, trip cancellation, curtailment, and loss of luggage and personal effects. Proof of insurance must be carried throughout the journey.
Do I get refund if I cancel the trip?
Concerning trip cancellations, the 10% or 15% booking deposit serves as a lifetime deposit, transferable to any future Eve Holidays trips or another individual. However, if cancellation occurs within 60 days before the departure date, the booking deposit becomes nonadjustable and nonrefundable.
Client pays full balance amount only after arriving in Nepal. If any cancellation or leave the trip due to whatsoever reason after the trip starts, there will be no any refund of any amount. Please also note that no any refunds will be made for any accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals or any type of services not utilized.
Can I change the date of my trip after booked?
Changes to trip dates are allowed without extra charges up to 60 days before departure. After this period, additional charges may apply depending on arrangements with other parties, plus increased costs if any.
Best Time of the year for traveling to Nepal?
For optimal trekking conditions, March to May and September to November are recommended. Cultural tours can be enjoyed throughout the year.
How is the accommodation in the trekking routes?
Lodging along trekking routes varies, ranging from dormitories with common toilets to rooms with attached washrooms. Eve Holidays provides accommodations with attached washrooms wherever possible, including some with hot showers. In more remote or higher-altitude locations, attached washrooms may not be available.
What shall I be eating during the trek?
Dining during treks features diverse options, with popular choices including Dal Bhat (rice, lentil soup, vegetables, and meat), noodles, pasta, rice and curry, and breakfast items like porridge and pancakes. Snacks, beverages, and fresh fruits may also be available, depending on the altitude and season. Eve Holidays emphasizes providing a balanced, healthy diet to guests and encourages staying hydrated, especially at higher altitudes where altitude sickness is a concern.
What happens if I get sick in the mountain?
In case of illness during the trek, preventive measures include maintaining hydration, avoiding alcohol, meat, and raw foods, and staying warm. Trekking guides carry a medical kit, and if altitude sickness persists, a helicopter rescue may be arranged. Travel insurance covering all eventualities is strongly recommended.
