Day 1 Arrive in Mumbai

There are no planned activities till the late afternoon, so check into to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will have a group meeting followed by a short orientation about our tour programme and here you will have the opportunity to meet your tour members

Day 2: Sightseeing

In the morning we visit Gateway of India which was built by British rulers in 1911 when King George V had visited India. From here we catch a ferry for an hour's  journey out to Elephanta Isle to explore ancient carved cave temples and climb to the top of Cannon Hill. After returning to Mumbai we are free in the afternoon to stroll around Colaba market.

Day 3: A day in the Bollywood world

Today we immerse ourselves in the world of Bollywood, visiting one of the main studios and then go for watching a Bollywood movie.

Day 4: Mumbai Sightseeing and train to Goa

We have a final day of sightseeing in Mumbai including a visit to the incredible Dhobhi Ghat where the laundry is done by hand. We also visit Mahatma Ghandi's house and the 19th century Hanging Gardens. This evening we transfer to Victoria Terminus to board a sleeper train bound for Goa.

Day 5: Goa Beaches

Arriving in Goa we transfer to our resort hotel and after settling in, the rest of the day is free to enjoy the beach and the warm waters of the Arabian Sea.

Day 6: Goa

In the morning we go out on a boat to spot dolphins playing in the waters around the coast of Goa. Afterwards we will visit a spice plantation for an entertaining and educational tour. In the afternoon we go for fun of Elephant riding

Day 7: Goa

We visit Fort Aquada and its lighthouse, the capital of Panjim and the quaint and the grand old churches of this former Portuguese colony.

Day 8: Goa

Today you are leisure on your own to explore what pleases you. Besides strolling in the beaches there are lots of opportunities of swimming, snorkelling, ball games, wind surfing or kayaking.

Accommodations

We use star hotels in India. Since the tour is designed on twin sharing basis, you share room with your fellow traveler but in case you prefer single rooms we charge for single supplement.


Meals

Buffet style breakfast will be served in the hotel where you stay. Lunch and dinners are not included in the trip cost to let you enjoy the variety of meals available in India.

 

Visa and Travel Procedures

All visitors need a visa for India, except citizens of neighboring countries Nepal and Bhutan. Indian visa must be obtained from the Indian Embassy in your home country before traveling to India
